I didn’t set out to become a realtor—but life has a way of leading us exactly where we’re meant to be.
In my early twenties, I was running my own graphic design business and studying business administration when I found out I was going to be a mom. It was a pivotal moment—one that pushed me to grow, adapt, and stay focused on my goals. I knew I could build both a successful career and a fulfilling life as a mom. With my husband, Tripp, by my side, we embraced the journey, ready to grow together and take on whatever came our way.
I completed my degree in 2005. I was eager to put my education to use and landed a job as an administrative assistant and an escrow coordinator in a real estate office. I was fresh out of school and hungry to learn.

I handled clerical work and supported the team which turned out to be an incredible crash course in real estate. I supported dozens of agents at once, solving problems, managing timelines, and understanding every step of the wide range of transactions from contract to close.
I always tell people: if you want to become a great realtor, start as an escrow coordinator. You learn everything—the pressure, the details, the moving parts, and how to think like a true problem solver. I was blessed with an incredible training for what was about to come.
As the market changed and technology became more important—especially around 2008—I found myself stepping up again, this time helping the agents who weren’t as tech-savvy. From writing contracts to setting up digital marketing, I was doing everything a realtor does behind the scenes. It felt like a natural progression to finally step into the role of a full-time realtor. After 14 years supporting other agents, I was ready to build my own real estate business.

I officially made the leap in 2015. My kids were older by then—Quade was in his teens, and Gavin and Mason weren’t far behind, which meant I had more time to focus on myself and my clients. I joined RE/MAX and never looked back. I’ve always been a student at heart—I joke that if studying paid, I’d do it full time—and RE/MAX’s training programs allowed me to continue learning about the industry.
Now, life has come full circle in the most beautiful way. My boys are now 21, 17, and 16. We love boating, kayaking, and hiking together. I fell in love with CrossFit, which gives me a space to connect with other like-minded people, cheer each other on, and crush my health goals. And of course, I’ll never say no to wine tasting!
Raising three boys as a young mom taught me two of the most valuable lessons I’ve ever learned: first, that nothing in life is perfect—and that’s okay. Let it be messy sometimes. Second, I am capable of more than I ever imagined, especially when I set my mind to something.
I don’t see myself as a salesperson—I see myself as a trusted advisor who helps my clients fulfill their dreams. My approach is rooted in honesty, integrity, and doing what’s best for them, even if that means losing a deal. I would never encourage a decision that doesn’t genuinely benefit the client. My ethics set me apart, and my clients trust that I will always prioritize their well-being over commissions.
Having been born and raised in Copperopolis, I bring a deep, personal knowledge of the area that’s invaluable when guiding clients. With extensive experience in handling transactions, I adapt easily to each client’s personality and circumstances. I’m a fierce advocate, available when needed, and committed to solving problems as they arise. I provide resources, answer every question with patience, and remain by my clients’ sides every step of the way. Whether it takes weeks, months, or years, I’m loyal and determined to help each client find the home that fits them—because they deserve nothing less.
Sincerely,

Amy Walker
